Search - OneDocMaster

Document level searches use a number of OneDocMaster (odm), each of which uses a OneDoc procedure (odp). Each odp uses zero or more list names and zero or more OneDocKeyTermGroup (odktg) items. You can review a list of OneDoc procedures and their associated list names here
and a list of your odktg here

The OneDocProc fall into a few categories: (A) find key words in the document using KeyWordsByPagePdc; (B) classify the document by document type, company/author or by the geographic state it is associated with e.g. PDocTypePdc; (C) don't bother trying to classify the relative importance of pages using PDocClassStaticPdpc, or use other functions to do so; (D) create data tables representing financial or other data embedded in the document using DataTableCreate; or (E) use sequential row extraction designed to extract known data elements presented in tabular form in the document.

Any list names associated with an odp ultimately use one or more odktg and generally it is desirable to create the odktg before created a new odm. So for example if are doing a simple key word search, we might set up a new odktg with two OneDoc key terms (odkt) of HELLO WORLD and HELLO PLANET. We then create a new odm using the procedure KeyWordsByPagePdc and specify that the newly created odktg is to be used for the keyTerms list name property of the search. The list names are needed to distinguish the correct mappings when there are multiple odktg for one odp.
